Start by dividing and clipping your dry hair into manageable sections. Of course, the more hair you have and the thicker it is, the more sections you'll need to create. Working from the nape of your neck up first, grab a one-inch section and comb through it. Pick up the section at the ends and mist with a light-hold hairspray to create lift. If your iron is a spring barrel iron (meaning it has a clamp) clamp hair at the ends and roll up until it is completely around the barrel. If you are working with a clamp-less iron, wrap section around the barrel starting at the roots. Hold hair on the iron for 10-20 seconds. Continue working in sections until your entire head is curled. Finish by gently fingercombing curls and misting entire head with hairspray. 

If your hair has a hard time holding a curl, once you release the section form the iron, roll it back up on your fingers and secure with duckbill clip. If you are concerned about creating weird clip marks around your hairline, place a small piece of tissue paper (or toilet paper) between the clip and your hair. Leave hair in clips until your entire head is finished and hair is completely cooled, says Moticka. Then you can release and fingercomb.

Some people prefer to wear their natural hair in its natural state. Others want to wear their hair straight. Here is some important hair straightening advice for those who want to straighten their hair with a flat iron or hot comb. Follow these tips every time you straighten your hair or you risk permanent heat damage.

Before straightening your hair, take the following precautions.

1. Spray hair with heat protectant

2. Rub a paper towel on the hair straightener. If this causes smoke or burnt patches, the straightener is too hot.

3. Test hair straightener on hair that isn’t easily visible. Try the hair at the back of the head. When you have straightened it, wet it with water and see whether it reverts back to its natural state. If it does not, the straightener is too hot.

Keep this in mind: There is no guarantee that straightened hair will revert back to its natural state.

It may stay straight forever if your hair straightener or hot comb was hot enough. Think carefully before deciding to start straightening, especially on a regular basis. If you realise that your hair has been burnt straight, soak your hair in protein (found in eggs, mayonnaise, and a few hair products) for a month or more.

Curling Hair

1. Heat up the curling iron. Most curling irons will need a little time to heat up before you can use them. If you try to curl your hair with the iron before it reaches the correct temperature, the curls will not hold.

Some curling irons will have different settings which you can play around with until you achieve the best result. Try to keep it at the lowest temperature possible though, to cause less damage to your hair. Look for curling irons that say None Damage on the box.

2. Make sure your hair is completely dry. Putting a hot iron on damp hair can seriously damage it — not because the iron is too hot, but because the water will turn to scalding steam. Play it safe, and completely dry your hair first. Run a blowdryer over any damp spots. (Although, try to wait it out. Depending on your hair thickness, this may take time. But, if you want to reduce heat on your hair, you can wait. However, if using a blow drying is the best option for you, keep it on a cool setting.

3. Brush out any tangles while the iron heats up. Start at the end of your hair and brush out the bottom few inches or centimeters, then work your way up until you can easily brush through the length of your hair. This reduces damage to you hair like split ends, fallout, etc.

4. Apply a heat protection spray. If you regularly use heat to style your hair, it's really important that you use a heat protection spray. It will protect your hair from the damage caused by exposure to high temperatures and prevent it from becoming dry and frazzled looking. Just spray it liberally all over your hair before curling.

Heat protector sprays can be found at most drug stores and hair salons.

5. Split your hair into sections. Even if you have thin hair, you'll get better results if you work with small sections of hair. That way, you can make sure you're curling everything and curl in a more uniform style.

Pin or clip up the top section of your hair. Using your thumbs, grab everything that's above the top of your ears and clip it up on top of your head.

Release upper sections as you work. When the bottom section of hair is finished, unclip your hair and let out a little more, clipping up the excess again. Continue working this way until all your hair is curled.

Remember that using bigger sections of hair will result in bigger, looser curls, while using smaller sections of hair will give you smaller, tighter ringlets.

6. Start curling. Now that all the prep work is out of the way, you're ready to start curling. Begin by taking a small section of hair and wrap it around the curling iron, beginning at the top or bottom, depending on the type of tongs:

Some curling irons will have a clamp near the handle. If this is the type of curling tongs you're using, open the clamp and position the end of the hair at the lower end of the barrel, near the handle, then close the clamp to secure. Then you can wrap that entire section of hair around the iron, by rolling the iron upwards towards your roots. Stop rolling when you get about an inch away from the roots, to prevent the iron from burning your scalp.

Other curling irons, often referred to as wands, don't have a clamp. With this type of iron, you should start near the top of your hair and use your hand to wrap a piece of hair around the iron. You will need to hold the end of your hair in place while that section of hair curls. Some curling wands provide a safety glove that you can wear while doing this, to prevent your hand from burning.

7. Hold the iron in place. You will need to hold the curling iron with the hair wrapped around it for a few seconds, while the hair heats up and curls. This should take approximately 10 seconds, but the time will vary according to the individual curling iron and the temperature it's heated to.

Play around to find a time that creates a perfect curl with your iron, but remember to start out with a lower time to prevent your hair from burning.

After 10 seconds, let go of your hair to release the curl. 

8. Move on to the next curl. Once you are happy with how your first curl turned out, move on to the next piece of hair and do the same steps as before. Make sure that you wrap all the curls around the iron in the same direction, so the curls will look uniform.

Alternatively, if you want less uniform curls, you can mix up the direction a little bit for a less styled look.

9. Loosen your curls . If you want your hair to look softer and looser, run your fingers through the curls a few times. The curls will pull down and loosen up as you do so. You can also turn your head upside down and use your fingers to fluff up and separate the curls.

Once you have curled your hair, do not brush it with a hairbrush. It will loosen the curls too much and they will fall out.

If you brush out curls with a hairbrush, your hair will look wavy rather that curly, which can be a nice style in itself.

10. Set your curls with hairspray. If you tend to have straight hair, or you're worried about your curls turning frizzy or falling out throughout the day, mist some hairspray over your curls. If you want tight curls, you can spray each curl individually as soon as you've finished with it, but if you want a looser style, wait until the curls have relaxed a little and only spray them when you've finished curling your entire head.

Choose a loose hold hairspray so your curls aren't too stiff and you hair doesn't feel too "crunchy". Hold the can about 12-14 in away from your head and spray evenly around your head. Be careful not to apply too much.

Never apply hairspray to the curls while they are still wrapped around the iron. The combination of the heat from the irons and the alcohol in the hairspray will fry your hair.

1.Choose the right scissors. Make sure you have shears that are specifically for cutting hair. Test them on a piece of string to make sure sharpness is adequate.[4]

2.Create a triangular patch with your bangs. The base of your triangle will be atop the head, approximately the width spanning the distance between the pupils of your client's eyes.[5] When uncertain of length or position, you should cut less, re-comb to check the cut, and then remove more if necessary.

3.Hold your bangs to the opposite side. If your bangs fall to the left, you should hold and cut them on the right, and vice versa. Gauge your target length more accurately by holding the bangs in front of the face. Imagine your cut beginning at the tip of the nose and falling to eye level, reaching the cheekbone.
You should take hair in manageable segments. Each segment should be about an inch thick.
Be sure you hold the hair slightly away from your head. This will help you cut into them and will keep you from hurting yourself.

4.Twist and cut the hair. Twist the hair you are holding gently towards the back of the head and cut along the line you have chosen for your bangs. Start your twist at the middle of the hair in segments that are about half-inch long.[6] Your target cut will be angled to one side, instead of the rounded shape you might cut normally.
Cut gently. Don't close your scissors all the way when you cut. Instead, delicately squeeze until the hair is clipped.

5.Re-comb and reevaluate. Many fringe cuts suffer because of chunkiness or excessive shortness. By combing and reevaluating after you cutting short segments, you limit your chances for mistakes.

6.Finish strong. Continue cutting into your hair one chunk at a time until you've reached the longest part. At this point, you should have the side-swept look you're seeking.

7.Comb your hair one last time. This is your quality check. Run the comb through your bangs to make sure your look is right and the hair falls as you intended.
If your bangs are still too long, trim them further.
If they look uneven, work carefully to cut into problem areas until you have a smooth finish.

1.Consider enlisting the help of a friend. It can be difficult to work with the hair at the back of your head, and you'll be working within some time constraints. Having a friend to help you speed along the process and make sure the rollers are tight can ease your mind.

2.Purchase an at-home perm kit. These can usually be found at supermarkets, pharmacies, or beauty supply stores.

3.Read and understand the directions. If you've having someone help you, make sure he or she reads the instructions as well. Pay particular attention to any time limits.

4.Comb hair and get all the knots out.

5.Shampoo and condition your hair. Use a rich protein conditioning treatment (one might have come with the kit you purchased). Do not use a heavy conditioner, as this may prevent the perm from setting.
Do not wrap your hair in towel turban when you get out of the shower. The added friction can knot and damage vulnerable wet hair. Instead, carefully pat your hair with a towel until it's more damp than wet.
If you must comb your hair again, carefully and gently comb with a wide-tooth comb, working tangles out as you move from the ends toward the scalp.

6.Wear the correct safety equipment. Perm chemicals are not designed for use on the skin. Always wear gloves that will resist the chemicals (usually any kind of plastic glove will work).

7.Protect the skin around your neck, face and scalp using a petroleum jelly like Vaseline. Don't forget your ears! Outline the entire crown of your head with the jelly. This will keep any of the chemicals from dripping down your skin.

8.Put an old towel around your shoulders. Underneath the towel, wear clothing that you wouldn't be heartbroken to lose, such as an old T-shirt and sweatpants.

9.Split your hair into four equal sections. Use non-metallic clips to hold back the sections you're not working with at the moment.

10.Place the rods. There are many kinds of rods available to produce a variety of different kinds of perm.
When wrapping the hair, start and the top and wrap down.
Put on perm paper on the back of hair and front and roll hair on to rods.
Avoid bunching or clumping your hair around the rods.

13.Rinse the perm solution out of your hair completely. It is vital to get rid of all of the solution.

14.Apply a professional neutralizer. The neutralizing solution begins the process of re-forming the broken proteins in your hair.

15.Carefully towel dry or blot your hair. Hold your head upside down and shake it gently. Be sure not to let the towel damage your new curls as it will take up to 24 hours for your perm to set. Do not comb your hair while perm is in, only massage or blot.

16.Permed hair needs a great deal of attention and care. Learning to care for your perm is an important step in any hair regimen.

The Perfect Manicure, Step-by-Step

Step 1: Gather the essentials. Be sure to have the following tools and products ready to go:

Nail-polish remover and cotton swabs or pads.

Nail clippers, if your nails need a trim before you polish.

Emery board and nail buffer.

Cuticle pusher and nippers.

Callous/cuticle remover.

Hand/nail moisturizer.

Base coat.

Nail polish.

Clear topcoat.

Step 2: Remove any previously applied nail polish. An acetone-based nail-polish remover is a bit more harsh than non-acetone removers, but the acetone removers get the job done faster, and no matter what kind of polish remover you use, it's going to have a drying effect on the nail area and cuticles. It is crucial that you minimize contact with any nail-polish remover for the well-being of your nails and cuticles (i.e., don't soak your nails in it unless you are removing a gel-based polish).

Step 3: Shape nails. Clip the nails, if necessary, after soaking for just a few seconds to prevent the nail from splintering when it is dry, then gently file them into shape. A slightly rounded nail shape or square-rounded edge is generally the best way to go.

Avoid metal or extremely coarse nail files to prevent splintering—opt for a gently abrasive emery board or crystal nail file instead. Smooth the tops and sides of the nails with a slightly abrasive buffer to ensure an even surface, but don't forget, if you buff the nails too smooth, the polish won't adhere as well and can literally slip right off. Consider nail buffers from Revlon, Tweezerman, and Ulta.

Step 4: Soak away. Place your hands in a bowl of warm (not too hot) water and add a bit of your gentle face cleanser to the water. Avoid putting detergent or soapy cleansers in the water because they can be drying and make your cuticles look worse. Soaking the cuticle before trimming is crucial, but over-soaking actually damages skin and nails, so keep it to three minutes or less.

Step 5: Apply callous/cuticle remover. When cutting away the thickened skin around the nail, applying a bit of cuticle remover can make all the difference in the world. By far the best and the least expensive one out there is Be Natural Cuticle Eliminator. Despite the name, it's powerful stuff, so don't let it sit on the cuticle area for more than a few seconds.

Step 6: Remove excess cuticle and callouses around the nail. Very gently push the cuticle back away from the nail with a cuticle pushing tool, but don't push it too far because it can damage nail growth or fray the cuticles. Be careful NOT to pull, lift, tear, rip, force, or cut into the cuticle in any way. Do NOT clip into the cuticle; merely nip off the free edge with a pair of metal cuticle nippers. It's better to under-do this step than to overdo it because the cuticle helps protect the nail bed from bacteria and damage. This is also the time to remove hangnails around the sides of the nail as well, but again, be careful not to cut into the nail itself or to cut into the skin too deeply; otherwise, you will look like you were tuning up your car, not giving yourself a manicure.

Step 8: Prep for polish. Moisturizing ingredients of any kind left on the nail will prevent polish from adhering properly. Using a cotton swab or pad, apply nail-polish remover over the nail's surface to remove any residue. While it helps to avoid getting remover on the cuticle because you want to keep that area moisturized, don't worry if you do because you're going to apply moisturizer on your nails again once the polish is dry.

Step 9: Paint nails in layers. If you have weak or brittle nails, use a base coat of ridge-filling nail polish to shore up the nail. A base coat also protects nails from staining and prevents chipping. Next, apply your color polish in layers, allowing each layer to dry between coats. Two coats of color polish, followed by a top coat to add shine and luster should do the trick. Use a lighter shade of polish if you're a novice at painting nails; any mistakes will be less noticeable!

Touch up your manicure every couple days with a single layer of top coat. This can make all the difference in keeping up the appearance and durability.

Clean up any mistakes—and Voilá! You're almost done. It takes time for nails to fully dry, so you must be patient. A fan helps, but do not use heat or the polish will chip and peel. Also, do not put your nails too close to the fan or you can get bubbles in your polish.

Step 10: Reapply moisturizer and during the day reapply sunscreen! Keeping your hands and the nail area healthy requires moisturizer and sunscreen. You can't have great nails and hands without these two essential items.

Bridal Dress: Bridal dress normally includes bridal lehenga or sharara, double or single shirt and heavy dupatta. Lehenga is one of the most important fashion items in bridal wear. Lehengas are normally made of baransi fabric and heavy dabka work. Dabka work can be light or heavy depending upon the choice or will of the bride. Brides start looking in fashion magazines to get an idea for their bridal wear. Dress material can be changed according to weather conditions. Yes, you are right; if wedding is going to take place in summer then wedding lehenga must be lighter as compared to heavily worked lehenga for winter season.

Brides like red color normally. But now a days different shade of red along with silver or golden color are used in bridal dresses. Fashion is changing day by day,  we have seen a lot of changes in bridal wear and of course bring new ideas about bridal fashion. But bridal lehenga will always be the key bridal dress.

When applying brown hair color go for your target shade and apply it to the roots. When it comes to the ends of the hair for the first time it might be wise to do a shade lighter than your target. This way your hair feels shiny and rich, but not too dark on the ends. The color will blend just fine if it’s only one shade different. When it’s time to touch up your roots, you should apply the color to the roots and let it sit there for the manufacturer’s selected time.

Normally around 30 minutes, leaving the ends free without any color. Right before the color is ready to finish, add some water to the ends and to the leftover color in the bottle. Give it a little shake and apply it to the ends only for a minute or two. Since the ends are already color-treated, they don’t take as much time as the roots. By leaving the color on too long from the roots to the ends that could give the ends an inky look, which is unwanted and unnatural. Those are just some of the things to think about, when dying your hair brown.
